Magical Bridge Foundation Pilots a Summer Camp in Palo Alto

A unique and welcome summer camp is being tested in Palo Alto this summer and – as of this posting – has a few open spots remaining. The Magical Bridge Foundation is teaming up with the Palo Alto Children’s Theater to create a spectrum-sensory friendly summer camp pilot project that will run for one week later this month.

The Magical Summer Camp will focus on a sense of play, with campers learning to “use their voice, body, natural expressions, and imagination to discover the exciting experience of performance” through pantomiming, skits, and dancing.

The camp is open to developmental ages 6-9, and camper must be able to work in a group with a 1:5 child:supervisor ratio (or opt to work with a 1:1 aide).

The camp takes place in Mitchell Park during the afternoons the week of July 22. For more information and to enroll, see the registration page.
