The Children’s Creativity Museum is opening its doors for free tomorrow to celebrate their third annual Children’s Creativity Day, featuring hands-on activities from Toca Boca, Tynker, University Games, and more. This year’s theme is S.T.E.A.M. Powered Creativity and includes workshops on game design, building bubble structures, toy go-kart making, slime science, wearable electronics, and a unique outdoor camp experience brought indoors by Toca Boca. The entire day is free, although some workshops require advance registration.
Toca Boca will have teepees set up with some of their favorite character on hand, and many iPads for kids to try out their favorite games.
The name Toca Boca sounds familiar because they are the maker of 27 fun apps (with over 85 million total downloads!) designed to stimulate kids’ imaginations. Even better for parents, Toca Boca games provide a safe environment for kids and has no in-app purchases or external advertising. We’re fans for those controls alone. Not to mention, that have awesomely cute t-shirts.
Tomorrow, let you kids chill out in a teepee, code some robots, or take an egg drop challenge. It’s bound to be a fun day with something for all interests. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is free for all ages.
