Saying Goodbye to Summer with a Last Break

We have two weeks of summer left, which make make your jealous of us or happy that your kid is already in school, depending upon how your summer went. We had our moments, especially because work and kids isn’t harmonious and there was an overdose of Leaning In going on at our house that past few weeks. Yet here we are, my most favorite part of summer when almost everyone else is in school and we can hit the road for a less crowded summer vacation.

We’re taking our own advice for a fantastic road trip with kids and hitting the road to see summer out in style. I’m reminding myself to enjoy the moments, worry less about spending money and more about making memories. My goal is to go with the craziness, even if it is backseat fighting for the tenth time that hour.

See you in a week!
