Caltrain’s Holiday Train Rolls into Town This Weekend

Caltrain-Holiday-Train-2009-The-train-500pxIt’s the time of year when Caltrain’s Holiday Train, filled with lights, music, and of course Santa, make nine stops along the Peninsula and South Bay. The Holiday Train is a fun family event that gives back by collecting toy donations for Toys for Tots redistribution to less fortunate children. In the past 11 years, the program has collected over 49,000 toys for the Toys for Tots program.

The train makes 20 minute stops with a show that includes singing with onboard carolers and a Salvation Army brass band, plus Santa, Mrs. Claus and other characters will get off the train to greet kids and pose for pictures. For best viewing, arrive a little early and be ready to put your littlest one up on your shoulders.
