The Wizard of Oz at the Orpheum Theatre for Two Weeks Only

Wizard of Oz, Mirvish Productions Toronto

Andrew Lloyd Webber’s  new stage adaptation of  The Wizard of Oz is coming to San Francisco’s Orpheum Theatre for two weeks only, beginning later this month. This feels like a start of the holiday season, with such a fun musical perfect for a fall family outing.

My kids have read The Wizard of Oz and my daughter has seen Wicked, yet oddly enough, neither have seen The Wizard of Oz before. This is the perfect way to let them see it come to life, and the story, energy, and set will surely keep my seven year old son engaged. Adapted from the screenplay, all of the favorite songs will be included, along with a few new songs written by Webber and Tim Rice. Don’t miss out on this limited engagement.

The special engagement runs from Oct. 16-27. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at SHN online.
