Step back in time this Sunday during Family Gold Rush Adventure Day in San Jose’s Historic Park. Become an original 49er and experience gold rush days by panning for gold, making candles, and waitin’ on the Pony Express. Learn how the discovery of gold shaped the future of California, including immigrants who came to the area to work on crews and became traders. There will be frog jumping, Chinese lantern making, and hoop races, too. Different movies about the time will be shown throughout the day.
