An April Fool’s Afterschool Snack Prank

IMG_5068This has to be one of the easiest April Fool’s pranks to try on your kids today.

“Chocolate Chip Cookies”

Buy a container of mashed potatoes at your store’s deli counter and a can of black beans.

Rinse the black beans and gently fold into the mashed potatoes to make it look the right ratio of “chocolate chips” to “cookie dough batter.”

While your oven is preheating to 400 degrees, spoon out onto a greased cookie sheet.

Bake until golden brown, about 15-20 minutes.

I’d suggest having the real deal on hand after the prank is complete. Unless your kids aren’t sore losers like mine.
