34248As part of the launch of Margaret Bloom’s Making Peg Dolls book, The Reading Bug in San Carlos is holding a peg doll class this Sunday afternoon, with ideas and supplies to make Easter and Spring themed peg dolls.

Peg dolls are believed to help encourage play and storytelling in children, and just maybe in adults, too. For $5 per adult/child pair, you can make two peg dolls during The Reading Bug event March 24 at 11 a.m. Sign up by emailing contact@thereadingbug.com. The class is aimed at ages four and up.

If you haven’t been to The Reading Bug, it’s an adorable bookstore on Laurel Street in San Carlos with books for all ages of children and varying interests. There are even some books for mom and dad, too.
