Get On the Move with the Exploratorium This Weekend

onthemoveNEW960x453While it was sad to see the Exploratorium close the doors on the location many of us remember visiting as children, they have gone out of their way to make this interim time before their new waterfront location opens full of fun and community building. This Sunday is On the Move: An Exploratorium Roadshow, which will bring exhibits and much more to three locations around San Francisco.

More than a pop-up museum, this will be part street festival, thanks to performances, artwork, and food trucks. The roadshow will be in the Mission, Bayview, and Embarcadero this Sunday. The Mission and Bayview locations will be happening through the afternoon, but the Embarcadero location will stay jumping until 10 p.m. The best thing is that admission is totally free, and locations are accessible by public transportation.

Make kaleidoscopes, dissect a flower, or a cow’s eye, for the brave. There is something for everyone at this unique, nearly city-wide event.
