Cross the Bridge for St. Patrick’s Day in Dublin

NEWstPatsLOGOv1-wWhile not in Silicon Valley, heading to Dublin for their 30th annual weekend-long St. Patrick’s Day festival is still easier than flying across the Atlantic for some Irish spirit.

The fun begins first thing Saturday morning with a 9:30 a.m. parade, but fun music, dancing, rides for kids, vendors, food, and of course a pub, run through Sunday afternoon. Admission is free, and it is easily BART accessible – although getting to BART from the Peninsula is an adventure. Wear your green and white and have fun celebrating all things Irish this weekend.

If you don’t want to leave home, you can live stream the parades in Cork, Ireland and San Francisco Saturday afternoon. Cork and San Francisco are sister cities and SF Mayor Ed Lee will be in Cork marshaling their parade.
