Rarely do I get this excited when hearing about a new restaurant coming to Silicon Valley, but Gott’s Roadside‘s decision to expand south has me immediately spreading the news.
We’ve been to both Napa Valley Gott’s Roadside restaurants, but the Ferry Building location is the one we visit the most. It’s great, fresh food with a menu that has something for everyone in my family, which is why I’m thrilled they’re coming to Palo Alto.
My kids love Gott’s – formerly Taylor’s Refresher – for the amazing milkshakes. (Gott’s will gladly split the milkshake into two cups for free, making it much more kid-friendly. Maybe I should say parent-friendly, as my kids would drink every drop of the full version.) For me, the ahi burger is the reason to stop.
The latest restaurant won’t open in the Town & Country Village until summer 2013, moving into the southwest corner. The whole section will be remodeled, causing some of the current inhabitants to relocate to other spots at Town & Country. Unfortunately, Hobee’s will not reopen at Town & Country, instead focusing on their other Palo Alto location.
I LIVE for that Ahi-Burger. But now that they’re going to be close by, I should check out the rest of the menu 🙂
