Fireworks Fun for the Fourth

While our Founding Fathers didn’t orchestrate an elaborate fireworks celebration when they signed our Declaration of Independence, a 4th of July celebration without fireworks seems downright un-American.  SV Mamas has curated fireworks shows throughout the Bay Area.  If you have a favorite to add, please let us know in the comments section.

Celebration at Berkeley Marina from noon to 10 p.m. with live entertainment, food, arts & crafts, kids playground and pony rides. Fireworks at 9:30 pm off the end of the Berkeley Pier.

A morning parade is followed by festivities all day at Leo J. Ryan Park in Foster City including live music, food and more. Fireworks at 9:30 pm.

Gilroy High School will host a 20 minute firework show starting at 9:15 pm.

In Livermore, the Old-Fashioned Fourth of July festival returns starting at 4 pm at Las Positas College Stadium, including fireworks.

Redwood City will have a parade downtown at 10 a.m., followed by an all-day festival. Fireworks at 9:15 pm.

Scotts Valley afternoon parade ends with a festival in Skypark with food, games, and a fireworks show at dusk.

San Jose Giants minor league baseball will have a fireworks show after Wednesday’s game.  The show can be viewable from Kelly Park.

Benicia’s City Park is filled with arts and crafts, food, live entertainment and children’s activities from noon until 7 pm. Fireworks start about 9 pm at the foot of First Street.
