Peninsula School in Menlo Park is hosting its 40th annual Spring Fair this Sunday. The day-long fair is full of fun for all ages, with tons of hands-on activities. Formerly called the Learning Fair, the Spring Fair is a lot like a very early version of the Maker Faire: robots, a zip line safe for kids, spin your own wool, a climbing wall, make your own wood crafts, spin art, button making and more. Other highlights are live music, a petting zoo, used book sales at a great price, food, fresh squeezed lemonade, and homemade strawberry shortcakes. It’s old fashioned, laid back fun.
The Spring Fair is located on the woodsy Peninsula School campus, at 920 Peninsula Way in Menlo Park. The event runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and costs $30/family, $10/adult, $5/kids, seniors and children under 3 are free.
