Stanford Football Fans: It’s Your Day!

Yes, it’s only the start of baseball season with the Giants finally opening at home today, but football fans can get a fix this weekend during the Stanford football Fan Fest. Watch the 2012 football squad scrimmage during the Cardinal and White Spring Game at Kezar Stadium in San Francisco. Prior to kickoff at 2 p.m. is a the Fan Fest from noon to 1:45 p.m., which includes face painting, a football and bean bag toss, autographs from the mens and womens basketball teams, the Stanford band, and food and a beer garden. During the game – when not glued to the action – get your photo taken with the Orange Bowl trophy and meet Stanford former football greats. After the game, stay around to meet members of the team and get your gear signed at autograph stations.

Admission to the day is free. Street parking is limited, but additional public parking is available at the Millberry Union Garage, located at 500 Parnassus Avenue near the UCSF Medical Center, two blocks away from Kezar Stadium.
