Everyone’s a kid at Gilroy Gardens for the next two months. Gilroy Gardens opened for the season yesterday, with a special spring promotion: everyone is a kid. For the price of a single day kid ticket – $34.99 – get a full season pass for kids any age (that includes 40 year old dad or 68 year old granddad, too).
Gilroy Gardens is best suited toward younger kids. There are a few rides aimed at kids closer to age 10, but not enough to keep them entertained for a day. It’s the perfect spot for younger kids to run, play, and ride without long lines or huge crowds.
The promotion runs through May 31, but April is the best time to take advantage of it, not only to get the most use out of the pass, but because Gilroy’s heat becomes a little unbearable during the summer. The best times to go are the spring and late fall, but the summer works for heavy use of the water aspect of the park. Bring swimsuits and let the kids spray each other and go down the water slide.
