Sweet fun in Los Altos! Bring the kids to downtown Los Altos tonight for the town’s Valentine Sweet Tour. Downtown stores will be open for the event from 6 – 8 p.m., hosting either food tasting, dessert samples, or Valentine card making crafts. The free event will have live music, and promises to be a lot of fun for all ages, with over 25 shops and restaurants participating.

Kids make fresh food on a farm! Hidden Villa is offering Cheese Please Pizza Lunch this Sunday from 10 a.m. to noon, giving kids an opportunity to learn to make fresh mozarella, pick fresh greens and edible flowers for a salad, followed by making fresh pizza with the mozarella. Best of all, this is a kids-only event! Registration is required.
Valentine’s Day cards for friends and frenemies! Tweens and Teens can make a Valentine card for a best friend or, better yet, an anti-Valentine card for a best frenemy at the San Jose Public Libraries. The Alum Rock branch library will host card making on Tuesday, Feb. 7 and at the on Thursday, Feb. 9, both beginning at 3 p.m. Supplies will be provided at the free event.
Donate a book, get a free Disney on Ice ticket!The San Jose Public Library is collecting new children’s books for their Families in Literacy program, and to encourage people to donate a new book to their local library, those donating will receive one free ticket to Disney on Ice presents Disney/Pixar’s Toy Story 3 in the month of February, while supplies last.
