Valentine’s Day is the one day of the year where we are all supposed to tell each other that we are loved. At least according to Hallmark.
Here at Silicon Valley Mamas, we honestly do love our readers. Each and every day. If you don’t have a valentine or you’ve had to remind your spouse three times that if he comes home without roses he’ll be sleeping on the couch, then there’s one special place you can come today and know that you are loved, appreciated, and oh so wanted.
And what better way than to show our love with a giveaway!
One very lucky (and loved) Silicon Valley Mamas reader will win a Tassimo T20 Single Serve Coffee Maker.
The Tassimo T20 Home Brewing Systems makes coffee, tea, cappuccino, latte, crema, espresso and hot cocoa in about 1 minute. It’s compact design is ideal for apartments, dorm rooms and countertops. With smart bar code technology, the T20 allows the brewer to adjust each beverage with the proper temperature pressure and amount of water. For a full review, check out what SVMamas writer, Robyn, had to say about her experience with the Tassimo T20.

The best Valentine’s day gift I got was… a lovely watch, matching purse and dinner reservations at my fav. restraunt right after I had my little girl. This was our first kid-free date!!!
The best Valentines gift I ever got is a porcelian rose from my daughter. It is beautiful and I still have it 5 years later.

My best and worst Valentine’s Day gift was all in one. My dad gave me a heart neckalce when I was ten years old. Every Valentine’s Day my dad would get me somesort of heart jewelry but this was special. It was not only Valentine’s Day but it was also my Mom’s funeral. I still have that necklace. And one day will give it to my daughter.
My best Valentine’s gift ever came this year from my 5 y.o. son. He cut out a big red heart and wrote on it “today is the day.” I’m sure he doesn’t know how profound that was — especially since he gave it to me on the day I applied for my first out-of-home job since his birth! I hope it’s a good omen. When I go back to work, I’m going to need lots of coffee — so this contest is perfect! I did everything for extra entries: liked, followed, and tweeted — so here’s hoping! : )
A vacuum, yes really. We do not celebrate valentine’s day anymore though. We got married feb 19th so now we just celebrate our anniversary instead. No presents. Just a nice night out without kids. I LOVE me some coffee so please pick me!
Also liked you on facebook. Pick me, pretty please.
my son has been saying for weeks that he wants to get me a pink ring for valentine’s day. my husband took my son to buy a plastic pink ring (with a heart) and my son gave it to me yesterday. was so sweet. i was amazed that my 3 1/2 year old thought about getting me a pink ring and my hubby followed through and took him to go buy one. my favorite ring ever!
I guess my worse Valentines gift was when I got nothing.
My best was when I got a dozen roses and the Fenton Cat for my collection

I got flowers that I wasn’t expecting, this year. Hormones have killed my brain cells and that’s as far back as I can remember, so it’s the best Valentine’s Day gift EVAH!

My husband and I usually don’t do much for Valentine’s Day, but this year, he placed five different cards all over the house, along with MANY little chocolate hearts in places where I would most likely find them throughout the day– on my computer mouse, on the kitchen sink handle, on the radio button. 🙂
I have a similar Tassimo and I love it! Wrote this about it: http://www.wantapeanut.com/2010/11/my-cup-of-happy.html
worst valentine’s day gift was no gift. I told my then boyfriend that I didn’t want to celebrate and he actually believed me. We have long since broken up!

My best Valentine’s gift came this year with a card Mister Man picked out that was absolutely his style – to the point where it went through the obscenely long thought process of how to choose a card, etc. And he got that it was funny. I couldn’t ask for anything better!
And yep – now following you on Twitter 🙂
I got a real rose that was dipped in gold for my Valentines Day! What a pleasant surprise!
Best present, a little cliche, but he asked me to marry him with his grandmother’s engagement ring…a family heirloom. So special!

My Valentine’s Days are never that great– I guess I’d like the grand romantic gestures but I know that’s not gonna happen…so ya just got to live with it. I think the best “gift” I ever got was winning a small bouquet and some fudge from a radio station on Feb 14.
i think my worst valentine’s day gift may have been this year’s: nothing. for some reason, this year my husband seems to have forgotten to think of me until the day of my birthday, Christmas, and valentine’s day. this means he scrambles to get something remotely resembling something i would like–i think it is time to change this pattern!!
